My story

 Hello, my name is Doreen Torres. I'm a baker, a wife, a mother of three precious children...Jesse, Isabella & Jonathan and I love Jesus!

In 2008, I was laid off from my job as an escrow officer. I had been employed at the same title company for ten years so when the California real estate market crashed and my layoff day finally came, I feared I would have no other means of income. Besides escrow, I had no other skills...or at least that's what I thought.  

I bake when I'm stressed so needless to say I was baking A LOT.
My oldest son suggested I open up a bakery. After doing some research and filling out countless forms, I launched SweetLittleCookie.com in May of 2008 and it's been a growing success ever since! Baking is something I LOVE to do, but it's also something I can do from home which allows me to spend extra time with my children. Because of this blessing, I'd like to thank everyone who has ever placed an order and I hope the deliciously sweet taste of my cookies will keep you coming back for more.
